Shielded Site
The Auckland Women’s Health Council has implemented the the Women’s Refuge Shielded Site tool on our website. It allows people to safely access information to help protect them and their whānau from violence without it showing up in their internet browser history. The Shielded Site Project provides access to helpful advice for people in danger of family violence, presenting six options: In Danger, Getting Help, Getting Out, Making a Plan, Online Safety and Need Answers. We have joined the Women’s Refuge in standing up against domestic violence and making more places of refuge across the internet.
We encourage other organises to add the Shielded Site to their website and help provide more places of refuge to vulnerable New Zealanders.
For more information about the Shielded Site and how to use it, visit the Women’s Refuge Sheilded Site.
